The Civil Service Union and the Public Administration Union have opposed the initiative of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Administration to dismiss the Independent Oversight Board of the Kosovo Civil Service.

They even say that they are ready to address the highest instances of international justice. On International Civil Servants Day they urgently demanded the proceeding of the Wages Law.

The President of the Civil Service Union of Kosovo, Mursel Zymeri, has expressed concern about the initiative to dismiss the Independent Oversight Board of the Civil Service of Kosovo, calling on President Vjosa Osmani not to allow such actions.

“We do not agree in any way and this issue if it continues by this commission and by the Parliament of Kosovo if approved, we will ask the highest possible instances, even from abroad that this action is not taken by by the Assembly of Kosovo. “I invite the President of the Assembly of Kosovo or the President of the country, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani, as the guardian of the Constitution to act urgently and not to allow such actions or to allow interference in the justice system”, he said.

Zymeri added that the only support in protecting the rights of civil servants has been the Independent Oversight Board. He stressed that 2021 is the first time that the government does not take any action to mark this day.

“After this conference, I will address the President of the Assembly of Kosovo with the request for a meeting and the ultimate request for the removal from the agenda of this item, that it seems to you that everything is fine, only this left unresolved and addressed. The issue of boards being discussed is another issue that does not belong to us. But the Independent Oversight Board is an interest, a direct violation of our rights. And this in one way or another is a salute that the government makes to civil servants. “To do what I want and you have nothing to do,” he said.

The President of the Public Administration Union, Ali Gashi mentioned the requests of the civil servants, emphasizing that the processing of the Law on Wages is urgent.

“We as two unions have assessed as a necessary need and as an immediate, urgent request is the drafting and processing of the Law on Wages by governments, and with special emphasis on this day we ask the government to urgently process the law in Parliament, as it is absurd to play with civil servants. “The urgent request of both unions is that this law be processed as soon as possible”, he said.

He has warned that if their demands are met with deaf ears, then they will take trade union measures.

“Keep your hands off the civil service, because you will face the power of the unions, you will face our power and you believe that it is not a small power. “Do not put us in an undesirable position, but if you put us we will react”, he declared.

For this, he announced that they had meetings, they sent a request to the Prime Minister, but they did not receive a response.

Both unions have demanded three additional salaries in the case of civil servants’ retirement, recognition of work experience during the 1990s, application of health insurance and signing of collective and sectoral contracts.

The largest pro-democracy newspaper in Hong Kong closes

world
June 23, 2021 – 12:52

Hong Kong, the largest pro-democracy newspaper in Hong Kong, has announced that it will close later this week.

This decision is a serious blow to media freedom in this city.

The board of directors said on June 23 that the print and online editions will not be published after June 26, due to the “current situation in Hong Kong”.

The decision comes after the arrest of the newspaper’s editor-in-chief and five other executive officials on suspicion of violating the new National Security Law.

Officials have also frozen $ 2.3 million worth of assets owned by newspaper-affiliated companies.

Police have cited dozens of articles published by Apple Daily as evidence of alleged plots to impose foreign sanctions on Hong Kong and China.

The billionaire owner of the newspaper and founder Jimmy Lai, has been sentenced to prison for participating in pro-democracy protests, which erupted in Hong Kong in 2019 and challenged Beijing’s leadership.

He also faces new charges under the National Security Act, including co-operation with foreign states.

The law, which has been criticized internationally, turns them into criminal offenses: calls for secession, terrorism, co-operation with foreign forces, and includes the punishment of life imprisonment.

Authorities in Beijing and Hong Kong have said the legislation was needed to bring stability, but critics believe it is intended to silence dissidents.

More than 100 people have been arrested under this law.

Hong Kong is part of China, but operates under the “one state, two systems” organization, which means that the city has its own legal system and rights, which include freedom of expression and freedom of the press.

Many people in Hong Kong, as well as human rights groups in Western democracies, have accused Beijing of undermining the city’s freedoms and autonomy in recent years.

The figurines found in the village of Mijajlici are 7,000 years old.

Vin?a culture

“Most of the Neolithic sites are from the younger Neolithic. It is a Vin?a culture, a Vin?a cultural group. We came across a completely new locality from that period. The site in question is on the Vasi? estate in the village of Mijajlica, “explained the curator, archaeologist Vladimir Stevanovi?.

“On the territory of the municipality of Bojnik, there is a spring, that is, a catchment for the aqueduct, as well as one part of the canal through which the water was conducted to the Empress’ city,” added the curator, archaeologist Julijana Pesic.

The area of ??Pusta reka is first mentioned in writings in the 12th century under the name ?upa reke.

It belonged to Stefan Nemanja. On the arable land, next to the road, the remains of 24 medieval settlements emerge from the bowels of the hill.

Densely populated area

“On the basis of ceramic finds, bronze rings, spearheads as well as the remains of the sacral buildings themselves, that speaks of the dense population of these areas, primarily mountainous ones,” says the curator, archaeologist Smilja Jovi?.

The results of two months of field work were translated into a monograph and a documentary.

“Our future goal is the presentation of these sites through this book, but also the protection of these sites, especially the most important ones, such as the Kale site in Gornji Brijanje, which is quite devastated,” said Vladimir Stojanovi?, project manager.

A team of archaeologists from the Leskovac National Museum, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, will explore the entire Jablanica district in the next six years.

From October, a lot of work awaits them in the Lebanese municipality.

Cluster one open, conditions for 3 and 4 fulfilled

Ana Brnabi? stated that she was on Intergovernmental Conference Serbia – European Union It was stated that Serbia has made progress in the past few months and that according to the new methodology, cluster 1 is open, and that during the Slovenian presidency, if the conditions are met, clusters 3 and 4 are expected to open.

Brnabic pointed out that Serbia continues with reforms with a focus on the rule of law, and stated that she hoped that two more clusters would be opened during Slovenia’s presidency by the end of this year.

“We have heard from a significant number of members that they will support us, and I guaranteed that this progress will continue, because we are doing everything we are doing for the sake of our country and the citizens of Serbia,” the Prime Minister stated.

In a statement to the press, Brnabi? thanked Portugal for the support it provided to Serbia during the EU presidency, but also to the member states that pointed out that they recognize the new energy in Serbia to accept reforms and implement them especially in the field of rule of law.

“It is clear what we need to do, the positive thing is that we stated that cluster 1 is open, the most important within the new methodology, and it is clear what is expected from Serbia to open clusters 3 and 4. We are continuing with reforms,” ??the prime minister added.

We hope for their opening during the Slovenian presidency by the end of the year, the Prime Minister stated, noting that the EU member states have heard what the conditions are for such a step.

Joksimovi?: The application of the new methodology has begun

The Minister for European Integration, Jadranka Joksimovi?, stated that Serbia has officially started applying the new methodology in the negotiation process.

“As of today, the application of the new methodology to our negotiation process has begun, a political intergovernmental conference has been held at the highest level on our part with the participation of the prime minister, which is the highest political level,” Joksimovic told reporters in Luxembourg.

“It was stated that Serbia cluster 1, the most important part of the political criteria, has already opened the basics of the rule of law with the fact that five of the five chapters have already been opened,” the minister explained.

“It is certainly an important impulse for us and we continue to work further,” concluded Joksimovi?.

Varhelji: Visible progress in Serbia

Portuguese Minister Ana Paula Zakarias said that the progress that Serbia has made in the past months was stated and that it is important that Belgrade agrees with the new methodology.

“We welcome the opening of clusters 3 and 4 when the conditions are met,” she added.

European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelji said that there was an essential debate on what should be done, noting that progress is visible in Serbia, which creates a new impetus for everyone.

According to the new methodology, he stated, cluster 1 is already open and we must continue to speed up the process during the Slovenian presidency, but Serbia must also do its part, said Varhelji.

“That is a clear message that the Prime Minister heard from us, and we are ready, as the European Commission, to help,” Varhelji concluded.

The Intergovernmental Conference of Serbia and the European Union (EU) started tonight shortly after 9.30 pm, and the Belgrade delegation consisted of Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic, while the European Union delegation was represented by Josep Borelj, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelji.

Adrola Dushi is one of the most beautiful Albanian women.

The former Missi has stayed over the years in the public eye, and a portion of her beloved private life has inadvertently become known to her fans and fans.

It has long been rumored on the net that she and Capital T are in a relationship.

They are often caught on the mat, but have never publicly acknowledged it directly.

Adrola recently posted on social media a romantic photo during a dinner by the sea, where she is seen with a bouquet of roses in her hands.

The lovely model is surprised by her man of heart, whom everyone is convinced is Capital.

Fans immediately burst into comments, mentioning the rapper?s name and congratulating him on the romantic surprise.

But apparently these words and news have irritated the famous model because through a post she writes:

Let the dogs bark, the caravan moves forward! Cruel beings! ?, Adrola concludes, implying that he is upset by the words of the people.
